2nd Chaves County Detention Officer Arrested
Today Chaves County Sheriff Deputies obtained an Arrest Warrant for Joe Samora (22 yoa) a former Chaves County Detention Center Officer. This Arrest is the result of an ongoing investigation by the Chaves County Sheriff's Office of Chaves County Detention Center Officers bringing in Contraband and Drugs to Inmates. Chaves County Sheriff Deputies contacted Mr. Samora today and made arrangements for him to turn himself in to Sheriff Deputies. Mr. Samora told Deputies his location and was Arrested without incident on 2 Counts of Trafficing a Controlled Substance, 2 Counts of bringing in Contraband to a place of Imprisonment, 1 count of Conspiracy Trafficking Controlled Substance, and 1 Count bringing Contraband into a place of Imprisonment.
