What: Hard Freezing Warning!

 

Dangers: Low temperatures can and will kill plants and vegetation. Outdoor plumping, and water pipes may burst.

 

What to watch for: Cold temperatures below 31 degrees. Temperatures will below freezing, check on outdoor pets.

 

Actions: Bring in outdoor plants, leave water dripping.

 

Avoid: Leaving plants outside.

 

Counties affected: (New Mexico) Rio Arriba, Taos, Union, Harding, Quay, Curry, Chaves, De Baca, Roosevelt, Lincoln, Socorro, Catron, Valencia, Torrance, San Miguel, Bernalillo, Sandoval, Santa Fe, & Los Alamos.

 

Timing: Monday, October 24th, 2022 @ 8PM - Tuesday, October 25th, 2022 @ 10AM

 

Additional Details: Temperatures will drop below freezing overnight, temperatures will drop below 31 degrees, overnight lows will remain between 32-10 degrees.
