Roswell, New Mexico (WIHINM)- According to The Roswell, NM Police Department; this picture of a boy in ambulance shown here is fake. This Picture which was posted on A Facebook Group Called Roswell NM Yard Sale by a man claiming to have found the boy in a dumpster looking for the family is fake (November 07, 2022). According to the City of Roswell, NM Spokesperson "Similar posts have been seen in the past featuring other children. Cannot verify the veracity of this". Also, this Picture was taken from another police agency. Police also say there is no record of a boy being found in a dumpster, nor were any reports made to police as the post suggests.
As you can see in the red circle area, Police lettering is shown. The What Is Happening In New Mexico News team has been in contact with Roswell Police about this photo and has also been in contact with Facebook to make sure this post is removed for false information. What Is Happening In New Mexico news team is sharing the story with the public, so no one is missed led. It is unclear if the Facebook profile is face or if the account was hacked.
