Police Investigating a threat made to one Roswell Middle School.

RPD on Thursday, Dec. 8, investigated some social-media activity that was initially thought to potentially indicate a violent act might be carried out at Mesa Middle School. The investigation led to a determination that there was not any danger related to the social-media activity. Still, RPD had plenty of officers present at the school Friday morning, Dec. 9, to ensure students safely got to class and no unusual or suspicious activity was taking place.
