Roswell, New Mexico (WIHINM)- According to the Roswell Fire Department Facebook page; around 10:50 Saturday night, Roswell Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire on the 1500 Block of North Greenwood Ave. According to the Facebook post; "the human occupants were able to exit the home, 50-percent involved in fire, but two dogs were initially still inside. One escaped the house and the other was rescued by firefighters". Fire Department did say there were no injuries, and that the fire is under investigation.

RFD worked a house fire in the 1500 block of North Greenwood Avenue that occurred late Saturday (Nov. 5), about 10:50 p.m. The human occupants were able to exit the home, which was 50-percent involved in fire, but two dogs were initially still inside. One escaped the house and the other was rescued by firefighters. Great effort by the crews in saving the dog and bringing the fire under control quickly to save the structure. No injuries. Cause is under investigation.
