Investigators call on citizens to come forward with information in double-homicide case
Anyone who was in the area of the shootings when they occurred should speak to a detective
Roswell, N.M. — The public's help is needed to solve the double homicide that occurred Saturday in Cahoon Park.
Anyone who was in or around the scene of the fatal shootings when they occurred around 5 p.m. Saturday (April 16) should come to the police department (128 W. Second St.) to speak to a detective. Anyone who was in that area at the time of the incident may be able to provide information that could be important to the investigation.
The shootings took place between the tennis courts and basketball courts just off Riverside Drive. The victims, Cameron Luna, 15, and Jorge Armendariz, 16, were deceased at the scene.
