A school bus with the Roswell Independent School District was involved in a rollover accident on US 70 East in Otero county. Police are on scena and say students suffered minor injuries. The students were on a field trip to Las Cruces, NM, students are from Mountain View middle school. Police have not released a lot of information as this is ongoing. New Mexico State Police are investigating the accident.

An RISD school bus carrying Mountain View Middle School students on a trip to Las Cruces ran off the road and into a ditch on Wednesday morning between Mescalero and Tularosa.
Students have been transported to local area hospitals for treatment and assessment.
The RISD thanks all first responders who attended to all passengers on the bus.
