Today marks the 21st anniversary of the most deadly US terrorist attacks on our nation. 9/11 still to this day remains one of the saddest days, and darkest days In American history. Today we honor and remember the sacrifice of our first responders, and to the victims who lost their lives. More than 3000 fellow Americans died on this day. 9/11 started off as a peaceful morning, Tuesday, September 11, 2001, was just another day in New York, in Washington, D.C., in Pennsylvania & in America. 9/11 started when four planes were hijacked, American Airlines flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles was hijacked, at 8:46 AM it flew into the North Tower of the WTC complex. 17 minutes later United Airlines 175, from Boston to Los Angeles was hijacked, at 9:03 AM it flew into the South Tower of the WTC complex. At 9:30 AM President Gorge W. Bush addresses the nation from an Elementary School in Florida. American Airlines flight 77 from Washington, D.C. To Los Angeles, was hijacked, at 9:37 flight 77 flew into the west side of the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. At 9:59 AM The South Tower collapsed, United Airlines flight 93 from New York to Los Angeles, was hijacked, at 10:07 AM flight 93 crashed in Filed in Shanksville, PA, the passengers of flight 93 were able to gain control of the plan after they fought the hijackers. Flight 93 was heading to US. Capital Building in Washington, D.C. At 10:28 AM The North tower collapsed. It was now known America had just suffered a terrorist attack, and that 1000s lives were lost. That day we vowed as Americans that we will never forget the sacrifice of the many men & women who answered our nations call to protect our freedoms, liberties, and rights.
